WHELM
A live performance piece created for the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance Class of 2022.
The material for this piece was developed through the physical manifestation of the task: get out of your own way. Through this task phrase work, solos, and duets were made and sewn together via a mass running motif. The piece ultimately reflects a society whose members are under duress and the ways community can catch, support, or stampede these individuals.
